Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer looking to join a reputable company dedicated to safety, quality, and innovation? We’re seeking a skilled installer to deliver high-standard fire detection solutions across commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Responsibilities
  • Install fire alarm systems to specification across a variety of property types.
  • Carry out testing, commissioning, and handover of newly installed systems.
  • Ensure all installations meet current British Standards and industry best practice.
  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical documentation to complete installs accurately.
  • Complete installation records, certificates, and site documentation clearly and on time.
  • Work safely and professionally, adhering to all health and safety regulations on site.
  • Liaise with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure smooth delivery of works.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fire alarm installation (fire detection, containment, cabling, devices, panels, commissioning).
  • Relevant certifications and solid knowledge of British fire safety standards (preferred).
  • Strong technical ability with modern fire alarm systems and installation methods.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a structured approach to on-site work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of an installation team.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
