Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer - Automotive & Aerospace

Location: Leicester (Onsite, Full-Time)

About the Role

An excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team and play a key part in delivering innovative solutions for the automotive and aerospace sectors.

As an FEA Engineer, you'll apply your expertise in structural analysis to the design and optimisation of mechanical components and systems. You'll develop, refine, and report on structural models that guide product design and performance improvements, using a high degree of technical skill and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform linear and non-linear FEA on mechanical components and systems.
  • Build, validate, and iterate structural models to support product development.
  • Present FEA-driven design solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute creative ideas and engineering judgment to improve product design.
About You
  • Degree qualified (BEng/BSc or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Experience with FEA software (e.g. Altair Hyperworks desirable, but other similar packages considered; training can be provided).
  • Confident communicator, able to present technical results effectively to varied audiences.
  • Commercially minded, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with a collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working in an agile and fast-paced engineering environment.
