Overview

Job Title: Financial Systems Accountant

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Contract: Permanent

Location: Homebased North West

Weekly Hours: 35

This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join the Finance team at Your Housing Group. It is a great time to join the team as we look to implement a new Chart of Accounts amongst a wider improvement plan. We are looking for an experienced Systems Accountant with a strong understanding of financial reporting alongside project management skills.

What will my working week look like?

You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately 1-2 times a week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key projects, representing the Finance team on wider company goals and lead on our finance system for reporting, support and maintenance.
• Engage across all areas of the Finance team and contribute to improving how the organisation operates.
• Line manage a small team and manage internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on relationship building.
