A leading hospitality provider in South Kensington is seeking a Financial Reporting and Systems Accountant for a 12-month contract role. This hybrid position requires a qualified ACA to support financial accounting processes, systems implementation, and adhere to best practices in reporting. The role entails working closely with external auditors, managing consolidation processes and providing technical accounting guidance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, with an emphasis on driving improvements in finance operations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar required.
  • Qualified ACA with strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Relevant experience in a similar position at a senior level.
  • Proven experience of technical accounting.
  • Highly numerate with proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Group external audit.
  • Lead engagement of the audit fieldwork.
  • Complete impairments testing of fixed assets.
  • Prepare consolidations and statutory accounts.
  • Drive reporting timelines and structure across the Group.
