Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant in the onsite Finance team. This role supports monthly management accounts, group reporting, controls compliance and key financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the completion of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
• Take ownership of all group reporting and controls compliance.
• Record capital expenditure and cash forecasting.
• Oversee the credit control function (purchase and sales ledger).
• Assist with external and internal audits (including resolution of all points raised).
• Take ownership of environmental and risk reporting.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Assist Finance Manager with commercial and operational reporting as required.
• Drive improvement in the use of IT within the department for reporting and internal control.
• Provide assistance to the finance function of the Farms division if required.

What you will need

• To be a Qualified accountant with at least one of the following qualifications, ACA, ACCA,CIAS, CIAM.
• Ability to report large amounts of data accurately and to tight timescales.
• Be personable and approachable, fostering strong relationships across the team.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday with hours 8:00am to 5:00pm.
