You will provide expert guidance on customer-facing regulations, draft and negotiate terms and conditions, and support the business as it scales. Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on financial products, with a focus on customer-facing issues.
• Draft, review, and update customer terms and conditions, product disclosures, and related documentation.
• Advise product and business teams on the interpretation and application of relevant regulations.
• Apply knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act, PSD2, and PSD3 to product design and customer agreements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and proactively advise on potential business impacts.
• Support cross-functional teams with practical, solutions-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to building internal awareness of regulatory and legal obligations.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer (5+ years PQE) with solid experience in financial services law (in-house fintech, bank, or top-tier law firm background desirable).
• Strong understanding of product and customer-side regulations.
• Demonstrable experience drafting and advising on customer-facing agreements.
• Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act, PSD2, and PSD3 is advantageous.
• Commercial, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance risk and business goals.
• Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic and high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
