The Financial Controller will be commercially astute and strategically minded supporting the companys ambitious growth plans by providing strong financial leadership and ensuring sound financial governance. Operating within a fast-paced high-growth professional services environment in the tech sector the role requires a proactive approach to managing financial operations and delivering insightful analysis to inform strategic decision-making. This role requires an established FC with the ambition and ability to grow in their role alongside business growth.
Working closely with the CFO Finance team and senior leadership team the Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management including end to end elements of cash and working capital management and driving compliance in day to day finance operations. The role will also play a key part in scaling the finance function implementing systems and processes that support sustainable growth.
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance function including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports as required as the business evolves.
Ensure compliance with all statutory regulatory and tax requirements including liaison with external auditors and HMRC.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls policies and procedures to support successful delivery of the strategic business plan and mitigate risk.
Partner with department heads and senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Deliver cash flow management and working capital optimisation.
Work collaboratively to implement and optimise of financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
Manage and develop a high-performing finance team fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
