A Qualified Financial Controller is required for a medium-sized manufacturing organisation based in Lancaster, with good commuter links to the M6. Reporting growth for the third year running, the company is now positioning itself to expand its product line and enter new foreign markets.

Reporting to an engaging FD, this role will suit a recently qualified Accountant or a first-time mover looking to gain industry exposure.

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Monthly Sage Payroll
• VAT returns
• Budgeting & Cash forecasting
• Pension administration
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• P&L & variance analysis
• Fixed Assets register
• Preparing Annual Accounts for audit
• Managing insurance renewals & claims
• Supervising 3 Accounts Assistants
