Role

As Financial Controller, you’ll take full ownership of Kyra’s finance function. This is a hands-on role covering everything from management accounts and tax compliance to advising leadership on fundraising and growth. You’ll set up strong controls, improve processes, and ensure Kyra is financially ready for the next stage—including a potential exit.

Financial Control & Reporting

• Own end-to-end finance operations: management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
• Provide timely, accurate insights to support leadership decision-making

Compliance & Governance

• Manage compliance, tax, and audit requirements across UK/US entities
• Ensure processes meet regulatory and investor expectations

Process & Systems

• Implement scalable financial systems, automation, and best practices
• Oversee transactional finance (AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations), managing and mentoring Marlon

Strategic Partnering

• Work with leadership on financial strategy, fundraising, and exit readiness
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for growth

What You Bring

Financial Expertise

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in a high-growth environment (SaaS, agency, or media a plus)

Multi-Market Knowledge

• Experience operating across UK/US structures
• Strong technical grounding in tax, compliance, and controls

Collaboration & Leadership

• Able to manage and support junior team members
• Confident communicator with leadership and external stakeholders

Mindset & Drive

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, but comfortable stepping into strategy
• High standards of rigour, accountability, and proactive ownership
