Role

About the Position: We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accounts Administrator to join our Caseware team, supporting the Audit and Assurance department. This is a great entry point into accounting and audit, with full training provided.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

This position is ideal for someone who is organised, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to develop a career in accounting while working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create and update financial statements using our dedicated accounts production software (CaseWare)
  • Manipulate and review data in Excel (using formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, and other advanced features)
  • Verify financial information to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily deliverables and client deadlines
  • Accurately populate, maintain, and update records
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Participate in team meetings to enhance efficiency and share best practices
  • Provide general administration support to the team
Qualifications & Skills
  • 6+ months of experience in a finance, business, or administrative position (preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles is an advantage, but full training will be provided
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
  • Organised, methodical, and deadline-focused
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to process improvements
