Are you a detail-orientated finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're working with a global, niche Financial Services business in Bristol to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

Following a restructure, they are centralising their finance function and as a result are looking to hire an ambitious Part-qualified Accountant to support key financial processes, controls & reporting. This is an exciting opportunity, where you'll gain exposure to technical accounting, regulatory reporting, and cross-functional projects across multiple territories.

What will you be doing?

  • Playing a key role in month-end close processes, including journal postings & balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting statutory accounts preparation, year-end audit & regulatory reporting
  • Working closely with senior finance to improve reporting efficiencies and driving process automation
  • Liaising with actuarial, underwriting & claims stakeholders to analysis & interpret financial data
  • Represent finance on ad-hoc projects within the wide group

What are we looking for?

  • Studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or AAT qualified with relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations, controls & accounting standards
  • Experience across multiple, systems, entities & currencies
  • Highly proficient with MS excel with ability to manipulate and interpret complex data
