A global packaging solutions leader based in Gosport is seeking a finance professional to support various financial processes, including month-end closes, accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll. This role involves developing the finance team's capabilities and assisting with VAT and audit preparations. Candidates should be adaptable and willing to support ERP implementations to enhance efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support month end close, including journal preparation and posting.
• Support monthly cost reviews with Market finance and Blackburn department leads.
• Assist in accounts payables & receivables.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT submissions.
• Support payroll and the roll out of a new payroll system.
• Support the annual financial audit.

Responsibilities

• Support month end close: to include journal preparation and posting; balance sheet reconciliations; fixed assets; cash management; intercompany accounting.
• Support monthly cost reviews with Market finance and Blackburn department leads.
• Support the ERP roll out in all areas.
• Support the development of the existing finance team.
• Support intercompany accounting including Group hosted employees.
• Assist in accounts payables & receivables.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT submissions.
• Support employee expenses processing and payment.
• Support payroll and the roll out of a new payroll system.
• Support the annual financial audit.
• Support the management of fixed assets and the posting and reconciliation of depreciation.
• Support the Gosport annual budget process.
• Support the Gosport monthly forecast process.
