The Opportunity

A large national transport organisation is looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave.

This is a key post within the Financial Accounting team, offering the chance to own year‑end, lead the audit, and ensure statutory reporting accuracy.

You’ll work alongside the Senior Financial Accountant and Financial Controller, supported by two graduate apprentices. The team is collaborative, fast‑moving and ideal for someone who enjoys variety and taking initiative.

• Lead the external audit - plan, coordinate and deliver.

About You
