Qualifications

• Demonstratable local government finance experience.
• Experience with financial systems in a large complex organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Leader in aligning financial systems.
• Ensure users in EPM & ERP are correctly set up.
• Maintain the financial system with statutory requirements.
• Take responsibility for reconciling staffing establishment.
• Monitor financial system interfaces for income and expenditure.

Skills

Ability to effectively utilise IT packages

Sound understanding of accounting principles

Good working knowledge of General Ledger

Proven analytical skills

Strong organisational and time management skills

Education

3 GCSE passes including Maths & English

AAT fully qualified or equivalent

Passed first year of CCAB accounting qualification
