We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Reporting Analyst to join us our fantastic business. This role is a Duel Site role, covering Ebbw Vale & Clitheroe. You will be required to visit each site from time to time as part of this role. As an Operational Reporting Analyst, your sharp analytical mindset and operational focus will play a crucial role in shaping how our sites perform and succeed. In this influential position, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter decision‑making across the business. You’ll take ownership of financial reporting and performance analysis, ensuring our teams have the visibility they need to meet targets and continuously improve. Working closely with operational leaders, you’ll support the development and enhancement of key projects, performance measures, and reporting frameworks that keep pace with the evolving needs of the organisation. Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyse and present financial performance to assist decision making
  • Monitor and report on key daily and weekly performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Produce comprehensive variance analyses and dashboards for senior stakeholders
  • Present and lead financial performance in daily variance meetings
  • Ensure financial reporting is completely accurate and within agreed timescales
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports, ensuring queries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Support monthly forecasts and annual budgets, demonstrating an understanding of key drivers to inform strategic decision making
  • Assist the OpEx team to identify, drive and track manufacturing improvement projects
  • Support internal and external audits, management reviews and RCA to drive improvement to financial processes and controls
  • Assist in the financial data gathering and analysis for the post‑investment appraisals for all capital projects
  • Prepare and track capital spend and benefits, ensuring this aligns to the approved capital proposal
Qualifications
  • Qualified/Part Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW etc)
  • Advanced Excel and ERP skills
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Great communicator and comfortable with liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive, organised and able to flexibly meet deadlines and deliver results
  • FMCG or manufacturing experience is essential
