Description

Join our global Finance team at CFC’s London HQ as a Finance Operations Analyst, supporting the development and optimisation of our financial systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This newly created role sits at the intersection of Finance and IT, offering a rare opportunity to influence how our finance function operates.

Working closely with the Senior Systems Accountant, you’ll manage financial systems (including NetSuite), lead system upgrades and integrations, and support users across the business. You’ll play a key role in automating reporting, improving processes, and ensuring compliance and data integrity - while helping shape the future scalability of our finance operations.

About the role

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Manage and maintain financial systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with reporting standards. Lead system implementations and upgrades, including UAT coordination with internal teams and vendors.
  • Ensure seamless integration between financial systems and other business platforms (HR, procurement, CRM) to enhance reporting and operational efficiency. Drive automation initiatives for financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to finance and cross-functional teams, troubleshoot system issues, and guide users through new functionalities and upgrades.
  • Safeguard financial data integrity and security through robust controls and governance policies. Ensure systems meet audit and regulatory requirements, and support audit processes with accurate reporting.
  • Identify and implement system enhancements to streamline financial processes. Act as a liaison between finance and IT, translating business needs into technical solutions, and manage vendor relationships to maintain system performance.
About you

So what are we looking for? We expect the ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have demonstrable experience in finance/accounting roles, with strong exposure to financial systems and reporting
  • Be part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or working towards qualification
  • Be confident working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and expense platforms like SAP Concur
  • Possess advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL or other reporting tools is a plus
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for process improvement
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Be highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple requests
  • Show a genuine interest in systems and how they support financial strategy
