An educational institution located in Cheltenham is seeking a part-time Finance Officer to join the Finance team. This role involves maintaining the sales ledger, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting purchase ledger activities. The position is a mid-senior level role that emphasizes collaboration within the finance team for accurate financial reporting. We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our Finance team. This role requires a positive and flexible individual who enjoys variety and is willing to help cover tasks across the team to support the overall success of the department.
The Finance Officer role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of our transactional processes, with a particular focus on sales ledger (non‑fee income), reconciliations, banking, and support to the purchase ledger.
Term-time plus 4 weeks (38 weeks per annum): 36.25 hours per week (Hours negotiable for the suitable candidate)
Salary: From £30,367 to £33,564 per annum FTE. For working 38 weeks per annum plus holiday pay this equates to £25,642 up to £28,341 per annum
