Finance Manager - Ogier Global

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare both audited and unaudited financial statements for Ogier Global entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Identify areas for improvement in the financial statement preparation process
- Audit Support: Manage the external audit process, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and timely audit for all group entities.
- Annual Tax Compliance: Support the annual tax compliance process for all Ogier Global entities, liaising with tax advisors and ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Indirect Tax Compliance: Review the preparation and submission of monthly and/or quarterly VAT and GST returns for group entities.
- Tax Projects: Participate in and support various tax-related projects, providing financial insights and expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
- Financial Control: Perform and review reconciliations, and underlying transactions to ensure accuracy
- Regulatory Compliance: assist with the preparation of regulatory returns and statutory filings for relevant jurisdictions
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA) ideally with c. 1 year PQE
- Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of financial statements, audits, and tax compliance, including VAT and GST
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
