We're a high-performing construction firm with a reputation for delivering quality projects across the UK. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our leadership team and take ownership of our finance function — driving efficiency, improving processes, and helping us make smarter commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate CIS, VAT, and HMRC reporting.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, job cost reports, and year-end statements.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis on a project and company-wide level.
  • Support operational teams with financial insights, tracking job costing and project margins.
  • Maintain and improve robust financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks.
  • Liaise with auditors, accountants, insurers, and banking partners.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You
  • Are ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience).
  • Have a strong background in finance within the construction industry - this is essential.
  • Understand CIS, UK VAT, and construction-related compliance.
  • Are confident with QuickBooks and advanced Excel.
  • Enjoy balancing hands-on work with strategic thinking.
  • Are commercially-minded, detail-driven, and a clear communicator.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary tailored to your experience.
  • A central role in a growing business where your voice is heard.
  • A collaborative and supportive working culture.
  • Opportunities for career growth and professional development.
