Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with technical and accounting expertise.
• Detailed experience in finance operations, accounting standards, and tax compliance.
• Hands-on mindset suitable for a scaling organization.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of day-to-day finance operations and management accounts.
• Develop financial insight supporting GT Wings’ commercial scaling.
• Collaboration with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

Skills

Full accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP essential; IFRS desirable)

Experience preparing monthly management accounts

Confidence managing day‑to‑day finance operations

Exposure to external audits

Experience supporting tax compliance (VAT, corporation tax)

Familiarity with grant claims and R&D tax credits

Proficiency in cloud accounting (Xero preferred)

Strong Excel capability

Ability to communicate with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
