Finance Manager - 6 Month FTC

Join Arqiva as a Finance Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract, where you'll play a key role in driving financial performance, partnering with senior stakeholders, and shaping commercial strategy across our dynamic connectivity and broadcast business. The role
  • Ownership of monthly results ensuring information and reporting is clear, accurate, timely and highlights the key messages
  • Ownership of Budgets, Forecasts and Long Term plans to Gross Margin. Produce clear management information and partner with the directors to explain any changes and levers
  • Support effective Business Partnering to the management team, deliver commercial support and challenge that drives financial performance. Monitor performance KPIs against planned targets / forecast
  • Driving and directing full year financial performance with the relevant Director and Account team
  • Operation of Commission plan for relevant Account Managers including setting targets, calculating payments and communicating with Account Managers
  • Create pricing structures for renewals, new business bids, proposals & pro-actively identify potential to maximise value through improving margins or reducing cost base
  • Manage delivery of new revenue generating opportunities from enquiry through to billing, Board and Committee papers etc.
  • Support renewal activities for the relevant business areas.
  • Manage new product delivery from conception to delivery in relation to the finance interaction e.g. business plans, billing.
  • Management of relevant cost areas including liaising with relevant Head of Finance/Finance Manager to fully understand cost base and drivers.
  • Forecast the Growth capex required to support annual revenue. Optimise cashflow through challenge and support of deal structures
  • Manage delivery of new revenue generating opportunities from enquiry through to billing, Board and Committee papers etc.
  • Managing deliverables for key contracts e.g. yearly true ups and liaising with customer in relation to these.
  • Ad Hoc support for the business related to the product area.
  • Dotted line to M&B Financial Analyst, directing day to day activities and longer-term work planning.
The person

• Significant knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and other office product, business analytical tools and report writing capabilities

• Experience of working as a Business Partner

• Experience of working in a matrix environment

• Significant experience of analysing and explaining data to non-finance colleagues

• Qualified accountant or similar finance degree
