A leading defence organisation is seeking a Finance Manager for its Bids, Contracts and Evaluation Team. This role involves reviewing bids, facilitating approvals, and supporting contract negotiations. The ideal candidate should have experience in financial analysis and costing methodologies, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. The position offers a salary of £62,000 - £75,000 and dynamic hybrid working arrangements.

Job Title: Finance Manager - Bids, Contracts and Evaluation Team
Salary: Circa £62,000 - £75,000, depending upon experience
Location: Stevenage
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The Bids, Contracts and Evaluation (BCE) team are a specialist and independent Team within MBDA's Finance department. We are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to take a lead role in the independent review and analysis of bids and other proposals. You will be facilitating internal approvals and providing support to subsequent contract negotiations.
You will be operating in a dynamic and stimulating environment, in a role that provides an unprecedented insight into MBDA's strategic business direction through involvement in the various business case proposals and sales campaigns. Propositions will include both UK Domestic and Export sales opportunities, and cover the whole life cycle of products within MBDA. (Assessment Phase, Development, Manufacturing and Customer Service Support).
