Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Cardiff City Centre
Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:40pm, Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm (Hybrid)
Salary: £36,000

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes
• Update and maintain balance sheets
• Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner
• Chase and manage outstanding debts, maintaining strong client relationships
• Prepare financial reports for the Director and senior leadership team
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cashflow
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
• Provide financial insights to support business strategy and decision-making

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
• Confident communicator with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) desirable but not essential
