Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager professional to head up a small, dedicated team. This is a new role and offers the opportunity to shape financial processes, provide insight to senior leadership and ensure smooth delivery of all reporting and compliance.

As the new Finance Manager you’ll be managing the day-to-day finance in a hands-on position that combines technical accounting and team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Oversee ledgers, payroll, reconciliations and cashflow management
  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
  • Act as the contact for external auditors and manage compliance with financial standards
  • Supervise and mentor a small finance team, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Support senior leadership with financial insights to guide business decisions
Qualifications
  • AAT qualified (or equivalent) with solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using finance software
  • Previous experience managing financial reporting, payroll and ledgers
  • Confident in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
  • Able to lead a team and develop team members
