Job description

Part-Time Finance Role in the Charity Sector

We are offering a part-time opportunity of approximately 16 hours per week within the charity sector.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Minimum AAT qualification, ideally ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Previous experience working for a charitable organisation
Benefits:
  • £20.00 - £22.00 per hour
  • 6% contributory pension with life assurance

Working Hours and Location:

Approximately 16 hours per week, ideally 4 mornings or 2.5 days with negotiable flexibility. The role is office-based in the HU6 area, with good public transport links and free parking for drivers.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the finance function, requiring broad accounting skills, organisation, and sector-specific knowledge. Good people skills are essential.

Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum AAT qualified, preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA with CPD evidence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Sage is preferred
  • Organised, proactive, and experienced in charitable sector accounting regulations
Additional Information:

This position requires office attendance; remote or hybrid options are not available. Flexibility on days and timings is possible.
