Job summary

A local charity organization in the UK is seeking a part-time finance professional to oversee the financial operations. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with accounting regulations specific to the charity sector. Ideal candidates will have AAT qualifications or higher, with excellent interpersonal skills and experience in the charity sector. Overview

A part time opportunity approx. 16 hours per week in the charity sector. The role is office based and cannot be undertaken remotely or on a hybrid basis.

Role and Working Pattern

Approx. 16 hours per week, ideally 4 mornings a week or 2.5 days with flexibility negotiable. The role is office based and requires attendance in the office.

  • Apply broad-based accounting skills with an organised approach
  • Ensure compliance with charity sector accounting regulations
  • Utilise good people skills and maintain effective internal relationships
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum AAT qualification; preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Demonstrable CPD
  • Experience of working with a charitable organisation and understanding sector accounting requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with Sage is preferred
  • Organised, forward-planner with a desire to apply experience in a part-time role
