Job description

We are currently representing a market-leading technology manufacturing firm that recently received significant private equity backing. As a result of this investment, the company has ambitious growth plans both organically and through strategic acquisition, and as such they are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team to assist with the next stage of transformative growth and value creation.

The Role

This is a newly created position that will work directly with the Finance Director and assist in the day-to-day management of the accounting and finance function in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. As the Finance Manager you will oversee financial reporting, month-end closing, review of management accounts, and ensure accurate and timely consolidations. Cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and the production of statutory accounts will all fall within your remit, alongside ensuring robust financial controls are in place. You will also support the senior management team with ongoing commercial initiatives and ad-hoc projects linked to the group’s continued development.

The Candidate

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with strong technical accounting experience, you excel in operating within a fast-paced and rapidly changing businesses. With strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, you demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality output to tight deadlines. You will also possess strong skills in financial and KPI reporting, as well as excellent knowledge of financial systems. Experience working in the manufacturing sector, and/or a private equity backed business are strongly preferred.
