The Role

We're looking for a proactive Finance Manager to lead financial operations, oversee reporting, and ensure smooth month-end processes. You'll be managing a small team, driving accuracy and efficiency, and providing valuable insights to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance activities including AP, AR, and general ledger
• Prepare and review management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring reconciliations, journals, and variances are managed accurately and on time
• Utilise Sage software for financial management and reporting, providing training and support to the wider team
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis against targets
• Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with tax and reporting standards
• Manage and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager (or similar) role
• Strong expertise in Sage accounting software
• Excellent knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
• A confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
