About the Role

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner (Development) to join our Finance team. In this key role, you’ll lead on all financial aspects of our development programme, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and statutory reporting. You’ll work closely with the Development team to ensure financial accuracy and readiness for security against funding requirements.

You’ll also manage grant claims, monitor systems like Sequel and Proval, and support the production of management accounts and board reports. This role requires strong Excel modelling skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly monitoring and reporting of development spend, targets, and KPIs.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems including Sequel, Proval, and Brixx.
  • Submit and track Social Housing Grant (SHG) claims and ensure compliance with HCA targets.
  • Prepare development cash flow forecasts and ensure readiness for security use.
  • Produce accurate management accounts, board reports, and statutory returns.
  • Provide financial advice and challenge assumptions to ensure value for money.
What We’re Looking For
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with development accounting experience.
