This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly acquisitive, private-equity–backed healthcare organisation undergoing rapid growth. Working closely with a dynamic and commercially focused CFO, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting strategic decision‑making, driving financial performance, and ensuring robust financial oversight across new and existing projects.
What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?
- Lead preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, and long‑term financial plans
- Develop and maintain rolling cashflow forecasts to support operational and investment decisions
- Produce insightful financial analysis, KPIs, and performance dashboards for senior leadership and PE stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, supporting them with financial insight to improve performance
- Challenge assumptions, highlight risks, and identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimisation
- Build strong relationships across finance, operations, and project teams
- Support financial modelling and due diligence for ongoing acquisitions
- Assist with post‑acquisition integration, ensuring new entities are aligned with group financial processes and reporting standards
- Provide financial oversight on project spend and investment cases
- Monitor capital expenditure, project budgets, and ROI analyses
- Ensure robust tracking and governance around project spend, including presenting variances and corrective actions
- Work closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decks
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, commentary, and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Experience working in a PE‑backed, fast‑paced, or growth environment (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate numbers into insight
- Confident, commercially minded, and comfortable challenging stakeholders
- Highly proactive with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
