Qualifications

  • Experience in business partnering is preferable but applications are encouraged from those aiming to transition into this area.

A Fantastic Opportunity : Finance Business Partner

12 Month FTC

Preston / Salford

Are you looking for a Finance Business Partnering role in the North West? If so SP Electricity North West are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a 12 month FTC - salary between £52,000-£57,000 dependent on experience to support our Digital & Technology teams. The role will be based across our Preston, Salford and Manchester offices with occasional travel to other locations.

As the Finance Business Partner for Digital & Technology you will be supporting the Lead FBP on delivering full financial support to the Directorate senior and wider management team, including production of business cases, financial, managerial and regulatory reports and forecasts.

In your first few weeks in this Business Partner role, you can expect to:
  • Meet your stakeholders and peers - relationship building is critical
  • Work closely with the Lead BP to gain an understanding of current performance and 2026 targets
  • Take ownership of your role month end, forecasting, report building and variance analysis will be top of the list
  • Understand how our financial models and MI works to enable you to maximise data opportunities

The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
