Job description

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• Previous experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, financial performance analysis, and cost management.

• Ability to take responsibility for key finance processes, utilizing support roles and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

• Technical accounting knowledge with experience within financial services.

• Stakeholder management skills with potential to grow into a leadership role.

What type of challenges do I solve?
  • Instilling accountability (efficiency and effectiveness) in the business supported by accurate month-end reporting and analysis.
  • Utilizing data to understand and surface business drivers, levers to manage financial performance, and emerging risks and opportunities. Supporting and challenging the business to make sound decisions on costs.
  • Delivering robust planning cycles for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Preparing ad hoc analyses on costs, benchmarking financial performance against peers, and providing timely, insightful, and commercial commentary and discussion with the business.
  • Contributing to board papers and investor packs; driving business strategy and influencing decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.
