Qualifications

  • Extensive experience working in finance department(s).
  • Ability to discuss financial accounts with non-financial personnel.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Modelling.
  • Experience working with tools assisting business analytics (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL).
  • Demonstrable presentation skills to all levels of organisation.

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Opportunity: Finance Business Partner

Contract: Permanent • Location: Cannock / Hybrid

Responsibilities
  • Interacting regularly with key stakeholders to maintain relationships between core finance and business units
  • Providing support to key stakeholders in to ensure financial and commercial understanding within these lines of business
  • Identifing commercial opportunities to improve financial performance
  • Ensuring financial challenges are proactively managed before, during and after period end routines
  • Devising plans to improve expense control processes in the business, to help generate additional cost saving and profit
  • Continuing to evolve and enhance our existing suite of reports and automate where possible
  • Supporting with production of the annual budget and regular forecasts
  • Providing additional commercial support where necessary
