Job description

A unique opportunity has become available for a Finance Business Manager for a charitable organisation based with good commuter links in Preston.

As Finance Business Manager, you will be responsible for the full management of the Accounts function, as well as the management of the Administration and Maintenance functions. This is a varied role suited for a multi-tasker who enjoys working in a completely autonomous environment.

Finance Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Maintaining cash flow forecasting
  • Credit control
  • Management of the bank and statement reconciliation
  • Accounts preparation on SAGE 50

Other duties will include:

  • General building maintenance, including scheduling of any required maintenance
  • Responsibility for health & safety for the organisation
  • Ensuring that all aspects of Human Resources are compliant

As a senior member of the management team, the Finance Business Manager will be required to act as an ambassador for the organisation and should be a confident communicator.
