Job summary

A well-established market leading manufacturer in Doncaster seeks a Finance Assistant to support their accounts function. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing management accounts, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and audits. They must actively study for ACCA, CIMA, or be AAT qualified, coupled with experience in a similar accounting role. Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Accruals/prepayments and processing journals.
• Month end balance sheet reconciliations and prepare reports.
• Weekly cash flow forecasting and budget preparation.
• Assist in year end audit preparation.
• KPI Analysis.
• Liaise with other departments for effective communication and collaboration.
• Ad-hoc reporting and project work.

Skills

Actively studying ACCA or CIMA or AAT Qualified

Experience in the production of management accounts

Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel

Experience in a similar varied accounting role

Ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines

Good decision-making skills
