Job summary

A multidisciplinary consultancy in the East Midlands is seeking a Finance Assistant to become part of their team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in accounts and skills in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing claims, and inputting data. This is a full-time office-based role with a salary range of £24,500 to £28,500 annually.

Qualifications

Job description

FPCR Environment and Design is an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy with a growing Accounts team and we are looking for someone to join us!


We have an opportunity for a Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator (depending on experience) to become part of our friendly team.


This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience in a similar accounts position or has completed relevant financial studies. The relevant candidate will need the ability to pick up new systems quickly and is keen to make a positive contribution to our existing Accounts team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Preparing and issuing sales invoices

  • Processing staff expense claims

  • Inputting of data into accounts software package

  • Inputting Purchase invoices

  • Collaborate with clients and colleague to resolve queries

  • Chasing overdue payments

  • Processing of BACS payments.

  • Assisting with month end duties


Desirable skills and experience


  • Experience within a similar Accounts role

  • Relevant finance training or qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude


This is a full-time role which will be predominantly office-based. Salary will be per annum.
