Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Finance Assistant to join our friendly team at our Head Office in Plymouth. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a growing organisation, where your contribution will directly support the success of the finance function.

What You'll Be Doing

In this varied role, you'll be at the heart of our finance operations. From processing invoices and expenses to supporting month-end deadlines, you'll be helping to keep things running smoothly and ensuring accurate reporting. You'll also get involved in budgeting, forecasting and analysing costs — perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers and making a real impact.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of a selection of cost centres and balance sheet codes
  • Post and evidence monthly accruals, prepayments and journals
  • Analyse costs versus budgets and share key insights
  • Process expenses and credit card expenditure efficiently
  • Code expenditure invoices via our data capture system
  • Review aged creditors and reconcile supplier statements
  • Support budgeting and reforecasting activities
  • Play a key role in meeting month-end and year-end deadlines
  • Get involved in ad hoc finance tasks to support the team
