Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Finance Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day financial operations. Working 20 hours per week, the successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and general financial administration. This role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible part-time position in a dynamic and growing organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer invoices and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly account reconciliations.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems (physical and/or digital).
  • Help prepare financial reports and assist with audits.
  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial queries.
  • Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring.
  • General administrative support to the finance team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong Excel skills and general proficiency in Microsoft Office.
