Finance Assistant – Belfast — £28,000 pa — 4:30pm Finish

Black Fox Solutions are currently working with a leading company within the construction industry who are looking to bring a Finance Assistant on to the team! If you want to join a growing organisation that is committed to helping you develop, get in touch to hear more details.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring accounts email inboxes to ensure queries and communications are picked up and directed appropriately.
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accurate 3-way matching between purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Processing subcontractor invoices, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Assisting with the preparation and execution of month-end payment runs.
  • Providing support to the wider finance team as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and filing.
What you''ll need to succeed
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role.
  • Strong IT skills including Excel.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Sage / Xero or equivalent experience
