Overview

Joining the Finance team at Sainsbury's as a Finance Analyst – Clothing means being part of a transformative journey within the retail industry where strategic decision-making and financial insights play a pivotal role in driving success. Working closely with the Clothing Commercial teams, you will contribute to value creation, enhance performance, and influence key business decisions through your analytical skills and financial expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely insights, analysis, and commentary to stakeholders.
  • Run and interpret management reporting, identifying risks, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and project budgets to drive business performance.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and diverse audiences.
Qualifications
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional body (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse financial data and present clear, actionable insights using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Proven experience in maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance within a commercial environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of financial understanding.
  • Evidence of working collaboratively within a team while managing priorities independently and solving problems effectively.
