Altum Consulting is proud to be partnering with UK's leading charity for older people to look for a Finance Analyst to join their FP&A team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight.

You'll work closely with operational managers, directors, and the FP&A Manager to develop robust financial models, provide insightful analysis, and create business intelligence that drives strategic and operational decisions across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Financial Analysis: Develop financial modelling and deliver high-level insights to support business decisions across the organisation.

  • Reporting: Produce regular management reports, including ROI analysis, provision calculations, cost reviews, and forecast modelling.

  • Budgeting: Support preparation of budgets and forecasts, build financial models, analyse cost trends, and assist with system budget uploads.

  • Financial Projects: Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation.

What You'll Bring (Must Haves)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years' experience in business finance or a similar role.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong financial modelling skills and experience building detailed models in Power BI.

  • High fluency in Excel formulas and functions.

  • Excellent analytical thinking and data interpretation ability.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confident communicator able to build relationships and present insights.
  • A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
