At Saint-Gobain Professional Services, our Finance Master Data team plays a critical role within the wider Finance function. We ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of Master Data that enables payments, manufacturing, invoicing, and strategic decision-making across our UK & Ireland brands.

What we’re looking for

We're seeking a Finance Master Data Specialist who brings a strong customer focus, a structured approach to work, and a genuine interest in data quality and governance. You'll be comfortable managing your own workload, working across multiple stakeholders, and using a variety of systems to deliver a high-quality Master Data service.

What you will be doing

As a Finance Master Data Specialist, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of Master Data across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, maintaining, and updating Master Data in SAP and other enterprise systems
  • Managing and prioritising Master Data requests, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with business rules
  • Acting as a steward of Master Data, following strict change control and security procedures
  • Investigating data issues, working with data owners to gain approval, and correcting inaccuracies
  • Supporting the creation of customers, suppliers, materials, and products using approved workflows and templates
  • Delivering a consistently high level of service and meeting agreed service level targets
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve Master Data processes and ways of working
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, tooling enhancements, and data governance practices
  • Providing guidance, documentation, and training to support good data practices across the business
