Overview

Finance Accountancy Officer in Colwyn Bay, paying £14.36 per hr, ref OR12674. Full time hours on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial queries.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
Requirements
  • AAT qualified or equivalent; progression towards ACCA/CIMA is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accountancy role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
