Job Title : FIM Project Lead - Finance Information Management (FTC)

Location : London (Covent Garden) - Hybrid

Contract Type : 6-month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We're hiring a Finance Information Management (FIM) Lead to join our Finance Transformation programme on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in London.

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future of BSI's global financial reporting and planning. You'll lead the FIM workstream within BSI's ERP programme, helping design and deliver a simplified, performance-led reporting framework and chart of accounts for the business. Your work will directly contribute to the standardisation and automation of planning, analysis, and management reporting across BSI.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and third‑party consultants, you will define our future‑state vision for FIM, guide solution design, and produce key artefacts that shape the long‑term data and reporting strategy of the Group.

Key Deliverables
  • Define the FIM ambition, principles, and strategic outcomes.
  • Lead the development of the BSI Enterprise Value Map.
  • Deliver the Public Cloud assessment and its implications on CoA and reporting.
  • Define the FIM hypothesis and document required dimensions and definitions.
  • Produce a Reporting Strategy Playbook and Reference Architecture.
  • Build a Solution Architecture Overlay linking FIM to ERP / EPM / reporting platforms.
  • Establish the Governance Framework for future‑state FIM.
  • Finalise the FIM design with updated reporting attributes and structures.
  • Create the FIM implementation plan with roadmap, dependencies, and ownership.
About You
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to finance transformation programmes or new Finance Information Management (FIM) implementations, ideally in global organisations.
  • Deep knowledge of FP&A processes, with a strong understanding of best practice in planning and performance reporting.
  • Confident working with and influencing senior stakeholders, including Finance Leadership Team (FLT) and Group Leadership Team (GLT).
  • Strong communicator who can distil complex ideas into clear, strategic documentation.
  • Skilled in developing global frameworks, governance, and finance process design.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide design thinking and stress‑test hypotheses.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and professionally qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Familiarity with public / private cloud infrastructure and enterprise reporting systems is a plus.
