An innovative technology company in the UK seeks creative makers and coders for rapid prototyping roles. Candidates will be responsible for taking ideas from concept to data-collecting prototypes and must demonstrate hands-on project experience. Both junior and senior positions are available; the former focusing on project ability while the latter emphasizes leadership in prototyping and mentoring others. Ideal candidates thrive in hands-on environments, embracing the necessity of speed and practical judgment in their work.
This role is simple: you make things that work, and you make them fast. You take rough ideas and turn them into repeatable, data-collecting prototypes. You own the full prototype cycle, iterate quickly, learn from failure, and trade perfection for results when it matters. You like being hands‑on, you enjoy rapid cycles of build-test-learn, and you get energized by shipping messy systems that actually collect useful data in the field.
We are hiring both junior and senior people who fit that description. Junior hires should show clear, recent hands‑on projects and a demonstrated ability to iterate quickly. Senior hires should show they have led shipping prototypes, shortened cycle time, made systems more repeatable, and mentored others. Above all we value speed, practical judgment, and a relentless bias toward building.
If you are the sort of maker or coder who would put a 3D printer on wheels, make a Pringles can fly, or build a gasoline scooter because electric scooters weren’t allowed on your campus, you will feel at home at Marble. If you are someone who would aspire to work at SpaceX or Tesla if you lived in the US, then this is your moment. We are looking for people who would have a great YouTube channel but are too focused on building to bother filming themselves. If you bring that mindset in hardware, electronics, or embedded systems, we want to hear from you.
We will be reviewing applications immediately and start interviewing as early as January 2026.
