Field Technician Construction & Materials Testing

Location: Watford (must live within 30 miles of WD18)
Salary: £28,000 £35,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Benefits

Are you looking for a hands-on technical role where no two days are the same? Join a growing business and become part of an experienced team of Field Technicians, carrying out varied and exciting projects across the UK.

  • Premium overtime rates: 1.5x on Saturdays, 2x on Sunday

The Role
  • Carry out structural investigations using cutting-edge scanning technology
  • Perform on-site testing of construction materials across a variety of projects
  • Record and complete test results, including calculations and reporting
  • Travel to sites across the UK (occasional nights away required, approx. 10%)
  • Work occasional night shifts (less than 10%)
What we’re looking for
  • Engineering-related qualification (preferred, not essential)
  • Previous construction, site-based or technical experience advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • A proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude
