A leading educational organization in Stourport-on-Severn is seeking an enthusiastic educator to deliver outdoor teaching courses linked to the curriculum. The role involves developing and leading activities for primary and secondary students, ensuring health and safety at all times. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant subject and experience in teaching. This role will see you working with primary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities to deliver curriculum‑linked activities that will increase students' understanding of nature and the environment. Your day‑to‑day will include developing, planning, and delivering courses in outdoor teaching sites to students on science and geography school trips. This will involve leading groups of all abilities in the local environment, ensuring you always have the health and safety of the group in mind. When you are not working in the field, you will also be happy to contribute to other aspects of working in a busy education centre. Fixed‑term contract until 31 October 2026 in the first instance.
Full‑time – average 37.5 hours per week. Weekly hours will vary across the year, with more during busy periods and fewer in quieter weeks.
