Responsibilities

• Install espresso coffee machines.
• Diagnose faults and make repairs.
• Undertake planned maintenance activities.

Skills

Overview

Field Service Engineer – West London

Location: Home based working mainly in West London and surrounding areas

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary: £32-40k DOE

Call out/overtime: circa £3-5k

Hours: Monday – Friday with rostered weekend call outs (approx 1 in 7)

Vehicle: Van provided; personal use permitted

Role

We are looking to recruit a field engineer to join our expanding London team to undertake the installation, planned and reactive maintenance of a wide range of increasingly complex commercial coffee machines and ancillary equipment in West London and home county areas. We provide an extensive training programme tailored towards each engineer based on their level of their electrical and mechanical knowledge and expertise as well as full product and health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Installing a wide of espresso coffee machines.
• Attending faults, diagnosing problems and making repairs.
• Undertaking planned maintenance activities.
• Ordering parts and replacement units.
• Completing records and reports on machine status and services.
• Liaising with customers and our service desk.
• Explaining machine faults, findings and repairs undertaken to customers.

Qualifications & Skills

• A full UK driving licence (essential).
• A basic understanding of electricity and ability to understand equipment drawings / diagrams.
• Experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment or as an electrician.
• Experience or knowledge of maintaining electro-mechanical equipment.
• Field service experience (preferable).
• Basic plumbing skills (not essential).
• Experience in using PDAs, smart phones and computers/ tablets.
• Good face to face customer skills.
