Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established OEM based in West Yorkshire, covering both UK and international service work.

Role Overview:

  • UK & International travel – approx. 80% of work in the UK.
  • Expected one international trip per month, typically 4-5 days.
  • 95% of work is pre-scheduled – no overnight emergency call-outs.
  • Ideal for a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Requires commuting to the office at least once per week.
  • Weekend work: estimated at one weekend per month, potentially two during shutdown periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process inspections & site audits.
  • Compiling detailed reports and energy audits.
  • On-site maintenance & engineering support.
  • Equipment optimisation & commissioning of new/refurbished machinery.
  • Producing safety documentation (RAMS).

Location & Accessibility:

  • Easily commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Harrogate, Skipton, Shipley, and Otley.
  • Also accessible from Clitheroe, Halifax, Brighouse, Haworth, Colne, Tadcaster, and York.
