Job summary

A medical device service provider in the UK is seeking a technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medical devices. The ideal candidate will hold qualifications in electrical or biomedical engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. The role demands strong organizational skills, a clean UK driving license, and the ability to travel across various sites in the UK and Ireland. Customer satisfaction and safety are paramount. A DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Biomedical experience in service and repair of electrodiagnostic medical equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years advanced computing and networking experience.
  • Customer service skills and confidence in customer facing environments.
  • Field service experience preferred.
  • Must have UK based experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Complete repairs on medical equipment as required.
  • Update the electronic service/maintenance reporting system.
  • Travel to various sites to perform maintenance.
  • Exceed contract KPI's to ensure customer satisfaction.

Skills

Ability to follow complex instructions and processes
Hold a clean UK Driving License
Good organisation and communication skills

Education

HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Qualification in Engineering, electronics or medical technologies (e.g., biomedical engineering)
HNC in Computing or equivalent
Qualification in Computing or Networking Infrastructure type qualifications
